Description
Coach Nikki grew up in Upstate New York in a town called Fairport. She has always been very involved in sports and values academics. She is also a Canadian citizen because both her parents are Canadian (eh!) and actually attended school briefly at the University of Toronto before pursuing a different path. Coach Nikki is currently finishing up her Associates’s Degree at Valencia College and plans to attend UCF to finish her bachelor in Kinesiology. She has always enjoyed courses about the human body and is very excited to complete her degree.
When her high school hockey career ended, Nikki was unsure about what she wanted to do to stay active. While growing up, she never felt comfortable in her own skin. She didn’t want to sit around not doing anything and make herself feel worse, so she began frequenting her local Gold’s Gym. She started to become friends with many of those who worked there and began learning a lot through them. She learned about powerlifting, bodybuilding, and even a little Olympic lifting. Through her first year of college, she competed in a club meet at U of T. From there she began to get more involved in bodybuilding.
Nikki moved down to Florida after her first year of college and decided she wanted to work towards competing in an NPC bikini show. She is currently prepping and will be competing in the Spring of 2021. Her own coaches, James Ayotte and Jennifer Dorie have both pushed her to become the best she can be. She looks forward to finally stepping on stage to show her hard work… and later eating her much-deserved burger and pork buns.
Coach Nikki began online coaching in early 2020 but has always had an affinity for helping others in the gym. She has helped her friends through the years with workouts and nutrition, as well as done some personal training. She enjoys watching people become excited about their progress and about living a healthier lifestyle where they feel good. Coach Nikki is a firm believer in feeling and being the best you, can be and she wants to help you get there.
Expectations of the client
- Give it your all – If you do not give it your all and put in 110%, you will be unsatisfied. If you are unsatisfied, that makes me unsatisfied, and I don’t want to be unsatisfied.
- Read EVERYTHING we provide you – this will give you the basics of what is really important to begin. As we continue, it will make things much easier for both of us.
- Ask questions (only after completing your reading) – I love questions. I want to be asked questions. Most importantly I want you to learn so that we can progress as quickly as possible.
- Tell me the truth – do NOT lie in your check-ins. I expect you to follow through with the plan but I do know we are human. If you mess up, I need you to tell me so that we know how to go about properly adjusting the course.
- Have fun!!

What to expect from coaching with Coach Nikki
- Nutrition – The key to any physique goal (growing, shedding fat, etc) is proper nutrition.
- Training hard – Continuously pushing your body is incredibly important to ensure that it doesn’t “get comfortable.” Our bodies adapt, so it is important to consistently overload your body.
- Consistency – Nothing works great without consistency. Sticking to your diet and your program will get you to your goals the fastest and most effective way.
- Listening – I do not want to work with someone who is going to go do whatever they want and then expect results. Listen to what I tell you, stick to the plan, and results will come. This goes both ways, I am here to help you and listen to what is going on to best help you reach your goals.
- Trust – It is important to trust your coach and trust the process. There are times when you may feel like little to no progress is being made, but you must be patient with yourself and me.
